15 july 2005. the Old bridge aswell as the Old town of Mostar, has became part of the World cultural heritage when it was inaugurated in UNESCO's list of protected monuments as universal symbol of reconciliation, international co-operation and of the coexistence of diverse cultural, ethnic and religious communities.
